“Showing Signs of Strong Emotion” is a coming-of-age EP that explores what it means to feel everything deeply — especially when it comes to love, identity, and growing up. Each song captures a different moment where emotions become impossible to hide, from the excitement of falling for someone, to insecurity, imagination, longing, and ultimately betrayal. Rather than telling one linear story, the EP moves through different emotional experiences that all reflect the same truth: feeling too much, thinking too much, and caring too deeply. It’s a snapshot of what it’s like to be young, self-aware, and navigating relationships while

Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost ev•“Let Me Fall”  It captures the pure, childlike excitement of new love — late-night calls, weekend meetups, and the vulnerability of first kisses — while acknowledging the insecurities that come with letting yourself feel so deeply. The song turns these small, intimate moments into something larger than life, playful and immersive, giving the feeling of a “glitter pen” love story. Let Me Fall” is about choosing to fall for someone even when you know you’re not perfect and it might not work out — but you want to feel it anyway. It’s playful, a little insecure, and completely all-in.”ery site.

Amelie

•The second song, Amelie, shifts the perspective outward, how I feel about yourself around others. Where the first track is inward and devotional, Amelie is observational—written from the edge of the room, watching someone who seems to take up all the space. The song explores the archetype of the “mean girl” not as a villain but someone who was probally going through things too. She’s admired, resented, feared, and ultimately human. The narrator watches her command attention, collect invitations, and cut deeply, By the bridge, the song softens into empathy, acknowledging that not everyone gets to be Amelie—and even Amelie is just trying to survive what she’s carrying

Didnt do it

“Didn’t Do It” is a cinematic, emotional track about the tension between imagined love and reality. The verses are fairytale fantasies — castles, movie scenes, and the life you wished you could have — while the chorus centers on the car scene, which can be read two ways: either the moment of a breakup, fast-forwarding to being alone, or the almost-romantic tension of wanting someone to act on their feelings while they hesitate. The repeated line “we didn’t do it” captures both: the love you imagined that didn’t happen, and the emotional moments that never fully materialized. It’s about longing, anticipation, and the collision of fantasy and real life.

Im sorry

•“I’m Sorry” is about being in love with your best friend and finally getting your chance with them, but they won’t say how they feel. It captures that mix of excitement and frustration — where you’re basically saying, in a playful and slightly sarcastic way, ‘just tell me you love me already’ — because you don’t want to stay if it’s not real. “I’m Sorry” is about waiting for someone you love to admit their feelings and playfully pushing them to finally say it — because you don’t want to be stuck in something that isn’t real.

Annabeth

•“Annabeth” is about the morning after I was told something had happened between him and another girl. I wrote the song in that raw, emotional moment, capturing all the panic, obsessing, and spiraling thoughts that come when you feel betrayed. The girl’s name began with an “A,” so I renamed her Annabeth for the song.  “Annabeth” is about being betrayed by someone you trusted and dealing with the aftermath of that. It captures the feeling of replaying everything in your head and wondering what really happened with Annabeth that night, while coming to terms with the hurt, the confusion, and the feeling of being made a fool.
