Here’s a recent photo of Maddie Grace with her dad in the performance for the University Oncology & Hematology Accociates Christmas luncheon. We had so much fun! Thanks again guys!
Maddie and her dad played for the taping of the Nashville Traditions radio show last night at the Troubadour theatre in Nashville, Tennessee. We had the best time and were very impressed with the show. The show airs on January 7th at midnight on WSM 650AM or at wmnonline.com. The performers on the show were wonderful – make sure you tune in to hear some awesome country and bluegrass music.
We’d like to thank Alan and Tammy for inviting Maddie and hope that we can come back some time in the near future! We also want to thank Charlene Buchanan Alexander for taking these great pictures of Maddie before, after and during her performance. Charlene and her husband’s company Mighty Boss (Zoom Cleaning Products) is a sponsor of the show and we had so much fun meeting them too!
I’d like to thank Tanya (one of our Facebook friends) for sending this picture from Maddie’s performance at “Butterflies for Maddie” in Glasgow, Kentucky. We really enjoyed meeting everyone up there and know that you are all still watching Maddie’s progress. Thanks so much for your support!

Maddie wants to learn to play the guitar because many of her favorite country music female artists play guitar. Maddie started taking guitar lessons several months ago and has been using her father’s guitar. She really needed a guitar that was more her size, so we went to Guitar Center and picked out a full size acoustic with a smaller body and thinner neck so that she could play it easier. After trying numerous guitars, she picked out a black Fender CD140SCE. We felt like this guitar fit the need for great sound and playability, while still looking cool (it also fit her budget). Needless to say she and her dad are both happy with the choice because they can now practice playing guitar together! And soon, like many of her favorite country music female artists, she too will play guitar!
Maddie performed for the Boyd-Buchanan School Women’s Luncheon back in November of 2009. Instead of singing songs by many of her favorite country music female artist, she sang songs from School House Rock! Here are two pics from after the luncheon. The first pic is Maddie with Mary Helen Wood. Mrs. Wood is the Vice President of Boyd-Buchanan and she also arranged for Maddie’s performance at the Luncheon. The second pic is Maddie with her dad (Patrick Bales).
We’d like to thank Mrs. Wood for the photographs. If anyone out there has pictures from any of Maddie’s performances, please send them in and we’ll post them! Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Maddie Grace, country music female artist, recently sang with the Boyd-Buchanan 6th Grade Chorus in their Christmas concert at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga Fine Arts Center. Students from the 6th grade through the 12th grade performed that evening. Everyone enjoyed the truly impressive performance by all of the Boyd-Buchanan students.
Maddie Grace, country music female artist, performed with the Chattanooga Girls Choir in their Christmas concert. The performance was held at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The church is beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for the Chattanooga Girls Choir’s performance. We want to thank Kerrie Ingle and Sherre Bales for the excellent pictures!
We received several pictures from our recent event at the Tennessee River Gorge Trust’s Pot Point Cabin, “Carols, Cocoa and Cookies”. We had a wonderful time and this was Maddie’s first experience singing with a live “band” (like many of her favorite country music female artists). Her performance was well received and everyone had lots of fun! Thanks again Julie, Sarah and many others from the Tennessee River Gorge Trust!
Maddie Grace, country music female artists, has business cards! We want to thank Jay Simpson, owner of Graphic Solutions in Hixson, Tennessee, for donating new business cards to Maddie! These are some sweet business cards. Now we just need to hand out 500 of them! Thanks again Jay!
