Maddie Sings “Whiskey Lullaby” With Her Dad (MP3)
This is an extended version of “Whiskey Lullaby” (originally recorded by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss). Maddie and I sang this song for a vocal competition on Facebook! I had to trim out several parts of the song to get it down to four minutes. The contest rules stipulated that the video could be no longer than four minutes long! I’m also singing more than usual because the contest rules require that one of the major participants must be 18 or older. The contest voting period ends on March 6, 2011. You can vote once per day through March 6th. Winners will be announced on March 7th. The grand prize is a $2,000 karaoke system (or $2000 cash). Second and Third place prizes aren’t too shabby either – a $1000 karaoke system and a $750 karaoke system! Please vote everyday and let’s win this thing!
